On the nose it’s mostly cream soda with a touch of cinnamon or clove . On the tongue it’s fairly hot with wood cleaner and earthy lodge on the back end.  Would we put it in a cocktail?  Nope, good on its own.  Would we buy a bottle? Yeah, solid addition to the bar. Would we drink as a sipper? Absolutely. #drinks #tikitime #rum #corks

On the nose is clay and floral perfume, chocolate sharpie, maybe some light woody-ness. On the tongue some honeysuckle, medicinal syrup. Would we put it in a cocktail? On the nose we get some plasticy sugar cane, some nuts, and a candy store sweetness. On the tongue there’s some nuttiness (hazelnut?), vanilla extract, light caramel and warm on the finish. It has a warm lingering hug. Would we put it in a cocktail? Yes! It’s great in the Mai Tai! It brings out the orange. Would we buy a bottle? Yes. It’s a tad dangerous though. On the nose it’s got nail polish remover or varnish, molasses, and wood barrels - I think we walked into a hipster nail salon. On the tongue it’s semi-sweet (not sugary) spice with some bitterness - maybe a medicinal fruitiness? Great mouthfeel. Would we put it in a cocktail? It would overpower most things - it would have to be a very tuned cocktail. Would we buy a bottle? It’s a bit more medicinal than we would like - it lingers too much - I would get it to put in floats or maybe over vanilla ice cream? Would we drink as a sipper? Yes, if it was available again, for sure. It’s a good one. It’s just A LOT. #drinks #tikitime #rum #corks

On the nose it’s Oak-y and spice cookies in the oven - very warm and inviting. On the tongue it has a gentle spice and toasty wood notes - those cookies just came out of the oven . Would we put it in a cocktail? Yes, it blends beautifully in the Mai Tai, mellowing the citrus with its sweetness. Would we buy a bottle? Yeah! It’s versatile! Would we drink as a sipper? Yeah. On the nose it’s vanilla, wood polish and a bit of sharpie. On the tongue it’s smoked wood, new plastic toy and some nuttiness with a bitter finish. Would we put it in a cocktail? Uhm, yeah, if it was available amongst other standard fare. It hides until the bitterness at the end. Would we buy a bottle? Probably not. Not totally wowed. Would we drink as a sipper? On the nose it’s beautifully balanced with driftwood and some clean salty air. On the tongue it’s mildly spicy but glows with toasted woody notes with a subtle nod to funky citrus. Would we put it in a cocktail? Nah, maybe if we wanted to experiment. Would we buy a bottle? Yeah! Would we drink as a sipper? Definitely yes. #drinks #tikitime #rum #corks

On the nose it’s sweet pencil wood and maybe some milk chocolate. On the tongue it’s dry, woody and subtle - a pleasant amount of spice. Warm without being boozy. Would we put it in a cocktail?  Sure, but it would be wasted. Would we buy a bottle? Yeah! Would we drink as a sipper? Absolutely. #drinks #tikitime #rum #corks

Warm candy coating notes with some very slight nuttiness and passion fruit.  Wet leaves and compost on the palette but it’s smooth and tolerable compared to the 8 year reserve.  Would we put it in a cocktail?  Definitely NOT a daiquiri.  Maybe a Mai Tai, maybe.  Would we buy a bottle? Probably not. Would we drink as a sipper? Actually, yeah.  We prefer this on its own to the 8 year Reserve. #drinks #tikitime #rum #corks

On the tongue it’s immediately warm and bitter, soiled socks. Would we put it in a cocktail? Not in a daiquiri again - maybe a Mai Tai. Would we buy a bottle? Nah. Would we drink as a sipper? On the tongue it’s warm and sweet (back to that coffee with cream and sugar) Would we put it in a cocktail? Jimmy loves it in the Mai Tai and @summerrnaugle thinks it would be good in a Caribbean coffee drink. Would we buy a bottle? Absolutely. Would we drink as a sipper?
